Full details
Kira is a lovely dog, we think sister to Milo. Together they are double trouble causing havoc, but since they have been seperated we have started to see another side to Kira, a more gentler and playful side.
Kira, like Milo, was saved from the Public Shelter in March 2015, both were due to be killed. Since being moved to the yard Kira has settled well. Initially in the company of Milo she was bossy and dominant around most of the other dogs, however she is a reformed character. She is confident but gentle with a lovely playful side. She likes nothing more than a cuddle and some fuss from you. She will be one of the first to greet you and the last to leave your side. She has no issues with food or toys around people or other dogs.
In the home, Kira would be best suited to a home with no kids or older kids only.
Kira has no issues around cats, in fact she has let the visiting cats to the yard come and eat from her bowl! We don't forsee any issues with her sharing a home with a cat as long as confident around dogs.
Kira will require introductions to walking on a harness and lead having not had this before. She will require a degree of toilet training within her forever home, however like all the Rommies they are ever quick to learn.
She will do well with the required training once settled into her home. Do you have a Kira sized space in your home and heart? If so then please complete the adoption application and someone will contact you
